Lucille R. Leffall

On Wednesday, October 5, 2022 Lucille Ryce Leffall answered the call of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and peacefully entered into His Kingdom for eternal life.

Lucille the sixth of 11 children was born in Marshall, TX on May 15, 1925 to the late Lyd and Julia Leffall. 

Lucille leaves to celebrate the memories of her life: loving and devoted daughter Julia D. Jones, loving son Jamahl Davis (Undine Brickers), Baltimore, MD; one sister, Willie A. McGriff, Oakland, CA; son-in-law Reverend Linwood Mooring, Shelby, NC; daughter-in-love L. Bonita Davis, Silver Spring, MD; seven grandchildren: Saundra Odom (Sean), Shelby, NC; Aaron Ray, Phoenix, AZ; Stephanie Mooring, Pinehurst, NC; Sherri Ford (David), Kings Mountain, NC; John D. Ryce, III (Yolanda), PA; Norman Cole (Tanya), Reisterstown, MD; and Artavia Taylor, Randallstown, MD:  six great grandsons: two great granddaughters and two great-great grandsons, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends.  Lucille was predeceased by: daughter Saundra Mooring; grandson Jason Jones; son-in-law Harry E. Jones; and stepson Halford Ray.
